Privacy Policy for RealHabits

RealHabits is operated by Zerdemption Softworks LLC. This policy applies to the RealHabits app.

Your habit data stays on your device

In the current release, RealHabits stores habit names, each habit’s good or bad type, marked dates, and calendar history locally on your device using SwiftData. The app does not require an account and does not use a Zerdemption-operated server or CloudKit sync for this data.

Zerdemption does not receive, view, retrieve, sell, or share your locally stored habit data. The app does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs that transmit this data.

Deleting app data

Deleting an individual habit also deletes that habit’s marked dates. If you choose Delete App in iOS, the operating system removes the app’s local container and its data. Offload App may preserve app data. Apple-managed device backups may retain copies according to your Apple settings; Zerdemption cannot access or delete those backups.

Voluntary support communications

If you contact us for support, you choose what to include. A support message may contain your email address, message, attachments, and app, iOS, iPadOS, or device information you choose to provide. Support communications are separate from app telemetry; the app does not automatically send diagnostics or habit data to us.

We use Proton Mail to receive and manage support messages. Authorized personnel of Zerdemption Softworks LLC may access those messages to respond, provide support, protect security, comply with law, and resolve disputes. We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. To request deletion of personal information we control, email privacy@zerdemption.com. After verifying the request, we will delete relevant information we control unless retention is required for a legal or security reason. Provider backup or deletion processes may temporarily delay final removal.

Children’s information

RealHabits does not automatically collect personal information or transmit locally stored habit data to Zerdemption. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has voluntarily sent us personal information through support email, they may contact privacy@zerdemption.com to request deletion.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app’s data practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the last-updated date. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@zerdemption.com. For product help, see RealHabits Support.
